About the Role
As the Governance Officer you will support the Governance Risk and Compliance unit in this dynamic and changing role to:

  • report, monitor and analyse ICT policy activities and compliance requirements
  • research, review, evaluate and manage ICT policies, procedures, standards and guidelines
  • support and provide advice to business areas in understanding ICT governance documentation and legislative requirements
  • promote ICT policies, procedures, standards and guidelines
  • develop and maintain effective relationships with internal staff (both technical and non-technical) and external agencies.

About You

Whilst intermediate level use of Content Manager, Microsoft Word and Excel is required, you will need to prove:

  • experience analysing and presenting information
  • ability to take responsibility for delivery of quality work outcomes
  • attention to detail and the accuracy of information
  • ability to write information clearly and consistently in adherence to the department's style guide
  • a proactive and common-sense approach to your work.
