Veritas Education are working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in the Bradford area to recruit a Geography Teacher. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and knowledgeable educator to join a supportive department, with opportunities available for an immediate start or from September.

This role would suit both experienced teachers and ECTs looking to develop their practice in a positive and well-structured school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable)
  • Inspire students to develop a strong understanding of geographical concepts and global issues
  • Assess, monitor, and track student progress effectively
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour in line with school policies
  • Contribute to the wider life of the department and school

    • Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Specialism in Geography or a related subject
  • Recent experience teaching in UK secondary schools
  • Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
