About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Geography Teacher to join our team at Veritas Education supplying the secondary school community in Sheffield. This role is ideal for an individual who is committed to fostering a stimulating learning environment and inspiring students to achieve their full potential in geography.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging geography lessons to students.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Create a positive classroom environment conducive to learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and participate in departmental meetings.
  • Stay current with developments in the subject area, teaching resources, and methods.
  • Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, desirable but not essential
  • A degree in Geography or a related subject.
  • Experience teaching geography at secondary school level.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development.
