Ravenswood School for Girls is a Uniting Church Prep to Year 12 day and boarding school for girls located on Sydney’s North Shore. Ravenswood offers both the HSC and the IB Diploma Programme as well as the PYP in the Junior School. We are seeking a Geography and Commerce Teacher to join our dedicated team in a temporary part time capacity (approx. 0.7 FTE), commencing in Term 1 2025 and concluding at the end of 2025.
At Ravenswood, we wish to excite students' interest in pursuing their studies both in the classroom and through co-curricular experiences. The successful applicant will be an excellent classroom practitioner, and who demonstrates creativity and rigour in the delivery of curriculum and enjoys working in a committed and professional team.
To secure this role you will;
- Have significant experience teaching Stage 4 and 5 Geography and Commerce
- Be an effective classroom teacher with an excellent understanding of the curriculum
- Be confident in differentiating curriculum in the classroom
- Have a passion for your KLA, and a creative and enthusiastic teaching style;
- Have strong ICT Skills; and
- Have a commitment to wellbeing within the Christian ethos of the school.
