Are you passionate about supporting children's learning and making a positive impact in the classroom? Veritas Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 General Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the Preston area.

About the Role

The successful candidate will:

  • Support teaching and learning across KS2 classes
  • Work closely with the class teacher to deliver tailored support
  • Assist with small‑group interventions and one‑to‑one support
  • Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
  • Contribute to the academic, social, and emotional development of pupils

    • About You

    We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience working with children in a school setting (KS2 preferred)
  • Is patient, proactive, and committed to supporting pupil progress
  • Has strong communication skills and can work well as part of a team
  • Holds relevant childcare/teaching assistant qualifications (desirable but not essential)
  • Has a current DBS on the update service, or is willing to apply for one
