Veritas Education are seeking reliable, adaptable, and confident General Cover Teachers to support a range of secondary schools in the Normanton area. This role is ideal for qualified teachers, ECTs, or experienced cover supervisors looking to work flexibly while making a positive impact across local schools.

About the Role

As a General Cover Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver pre-prepared work across various subjects at KS3 and KS4
  • Maintain positive behaviour in line with school policies
  • Build rapport with students and staff, contributing to a productive learning environment
  • Manage classroom transitions and provide structure throughout the school day
  • Follow safeguarding expectations as set out by the DfE and Veritas Education

    • Requirements

    We are looking for individuals who:

  • Hold QTS/QTLS or have experience as a cover supervisor
  • Can demonstrate strong classroom presence and behaviour management
  • Are adaptable, professional, and committed to supporting young people
  • Hold (or are willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS on the update service
  • Have the right to work in the UK
