About the role:
Reporting to the Manager, Financial Advisory Services, this exciting opportunity is based in the Metropolitan South Region. The successful applicant will assist and support budget preparation and provide reporting, analysis and advice in relation to operational issues impacting financial management in schools and the region. They will also assist in supporting schools and regions to enhance their financial capability and performance.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide financial advice to schools and regional teams, empowering effective decision-making.
  • Build strong partnerships with key stakeholders to align financial goals with education priorities.
  • Support and / or lead financial training to enhance skills and ensure best practices across schools and regions.
  • Contribute to strong administrative practices, prepare insightful financial reports and briefings.
  • Drive financial improvement by identifying policy gaps and financial management competencies.
