We are seeking a Finance Secretary to assist the School Leadership Team with a variety of administrative and financial tasks to support the financial operations of the school. Under the direction of the Principal, and Finance Officer, you will provide support to ensure the school delivers on key reporting deadlines.
The successful applicant will be responsible for Accounts Receivable, including:
- administration of and collection of school fees and fee enquiries
- reconciliation of accounts
- concessioning accounts
- cashier and banking duties
- management of direct debits
- data entry
- demonstrated initiative and attention to detail
- skilful negotiator who is able to liaise with the school’s clients with empathy
- highly organised
- demonstrated sound judgement, confidentiality and discretion
Previous experience in an accounts or a finance role is a must. Ability to use and learn software related to finance is required.
A successful applicant MUST hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement; and be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
