About the Role

Veritas Education are working in partnership with a highly regarded, inclusive primary school in the Haslingden area to recruit a dedicated EYFS SEN Teacher for September 2026.

You will take the lead in supporting pupils within the Early Years setting who have a range of additional needs, delivering tailored provision that enables every child to access learning and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver adapted EYFS curriculum to meet a range of SEN needs
  • Create a structured, nurturing classroom environment that supports early development
  • Work closely with the SENCO, support staff, and external professionals
  • Develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs/EHCP targets)
  • Use a range of strategies to support children with:
  • Autism (ASD)
  • Speech, Language & Communication Needs (SLCN)
  • Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH)
  • Moderate to severe learning difficulties
  • Build strong relationships with parents and carers

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in EYFS and/or SEN settings
  • Strong understanding of early childhood development and SEND frameworks
  • Patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach
  • Confident working as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Passionate about making a genuine difference to children with additional needs
