Level 3 Teaching Assistant
Start Date: January 6th 2025Salary: £28,963 to £30,257Hours: 33.75 hours per week, 08:30-15:45, Mon-Fri, term time only. Basis: Temp Contract
A wonderful two form entry Catholic primary school in Barnet are looking to appoint a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team for 5 days per week, from 08.30 to 15.45 daily (33.75 hours per week).

Job Requirements:
You will need to have a Level 3 qualification or a similar amount of experience and should have carried out a Level 3 TA role before and have previous experience of covering classes on an ad-hoc basis. You must have sound knowledge of how children learn and a number of strategies to encourage learning. You will need to be sensitive to the special needs of individual children and be able to work as part of a team. Previous experience of working with special needs children on a one to one basis and running intervention groups would be useful. You need to be willing to work across all the age phases here at the primary school (Nursery to KS2). You will need to be comfortable to cover classes for teacher absence across EYFS and Key Stages 1 and 2. Candidates will need to demonstrate initiative and enthusiasm and have excellent literacy and numeracy skills.We can offer:
