The Role: We are currently seeking an Experienced Cover Supervisor to join our team and work with secondary schools in Batley. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about education and have experience managing classrooms in the absence of regular teachers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure pupils remain focused and on-task.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively, following school policies.
  • Support students in completing work across various subjects.
  • Adapt to different school environments and work with a diverse range of pupils.
  • Build positive relationships with both staff and students, ensuring a productive learning atmosphere.

    • What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar role within a secondary school setting.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Confidence and the ability to engage with students across a range of subjects.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in different schools and year groups.
  • A genuine passion for working with young people and supporting their education.
  • A DBS check on the update service or a willingness to apply for one.
