About the Role:
As the Executive Officer you will contribute to the department's organisational objectives by the provision of specialist secretariat support to our boards, providing high level support to ADG's and DDG's.
This role reports to the Manager, ICT Project Services and will be a core team member, providing a specialist function to undertake a variety of research, project and committee support activities, including providing executive support for meetings, preparing and distributing agendas, papers and minutes, and following up action items.

- Ensure the provision of efficient administrative support to the branch, including appointments and meetings, organising venues, financial management and receive visitors and delegations to the Office.
- Undertake a variety of research, project and committee support activities, including providing executive support for meetings, preparing and distributing agendas, papers and minutes, and following up action items.
- Resolve problems and assist in the development and implementation of initiatives, policies, processes and systems for effective and efficient administration of departmental services.
- Assist in coordinating the development and implementation of plans, policies and procedures, and in managing processes.

About You:
- The ideal applicant will demonstrate the skills and experience required of an Executive Officer, specifically as it relates to ICT Secretariat functions, as outlined in the role description.

- ICT Project Services sits within the Governance, Risk and Compliance directorate and as part of this team you will conduct yourself with honesty and integrity, leading by example to ensure compliance with Department policies and procedures.
As a member of ICT Project Services you will work alongside a team of dedicated Project Officers and will cross skill with the Project Officer (Workforce Planning and Finance).
As such any skills or experience in procurement, project administration, or finance administration would be highly regarded.
