 Your role:

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide high level executive support to the Assistant Director-General, Disability, Inclusion and Student Services while balancing conflicting priorities, working to deadlines and displaying a high degree of professionalism and judgement.
  • Coordinate, quality control and manage the workflow for the preparation of briefing notes, submissions, reports, media responses and correspondence on behalf of the branch and for use by the Assistant Director-General, including responding to requests from the Minister's office, senior executives in the public and private sectors and stakeholders.
  • An ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality, in a fast-paced and sensitive working environment.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with the Minister's office, Office of the Director-General, Office of the Deputy Director-General, Schools and Student Support, and senior executives in the public and private sector.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy in all administrative documents associated with activities within the division according to departmental guidelines.
  • Encourage an environment in which high quality services are delivered by continually seeking improvements in administrative systems and processes and by leading by example.
