Your Opportunity

An exciting opportunity exists within the Communication Team, Early Childhood Division.

We are looking for an AO3 Executive Assistant to support:

  • The Communications team to help implement and promote many exciting early childhood landmark initiatives, through a range of administrative functions, including event support.

Your Role

As an Executive Assistant, you will provide quality administrative and corporate support 

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide confidential administrative support to Executive Directors, Directors and other staff across the division in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
  • Employ effective communication skills to liaise professionally with officers and individuals at all levels of the division, the department, other government agencies and private sector, stakeholders and community representatives.
  • Arrange events and provide administrative support for committees, meetings and conferences including catering, materials and information and providing support and minute taking.
  • Project manage events, by arranging contractors and logistics on behalf of the Division. This may include organising travel and accommodation.
  • Maintain records and administer the flow of correspondence across teams, following up on outstanding items and preparing documents for approval.
  • Develop and maintain management and administrative databases, process information and prepare correspondence and associated reports for senior officers.
  • Support the development of creative materials, including digital assets and print production to promote a range of early childhood initiatives.
