Long-Term Temporary | Potential Permanent Opportunity Middlesbrough | £140-£155 per day | 8:00am-4:00pm

Veritas Education are currently supporting a mixed and inclusive secondary school in Middlesbrough as they look to appoint an organised and proactive Exams Officer to lead the smooth delivery of all internal and external examinations and support the accurate tracking of key assessment data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full exams cycle: entries, timetables, seating plans and secure exam materials
  • Liaise with exam boards and ensure full compliance with JCQ regulations
  • Recruit, train and coordinate invigilators
  • Prepare exam rooms and oversee daily running during exam periods
  • Maintain accurate pupil tracking and assessment data
  • Communicate clearly with staff, students and parents
  • Support results day processes and post-results services
  • What We're Looking For

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Strong IT skills
  • Calm, methodical and reliable-especially under pressure
  • Confident user of school data systems
  • SIMS experience is a significant advantage
  • Excellent communication and attention to detail
  • Previous school or exams experience welcome but not essential
