Your Role:

As the Senior Project Officer you will:

  • Provide high quality confidential administrative and executive support;
  • Interpret and facilitate senior officer requests to assist the division in developing appropriate and timely responses, including dealing sensitively and appropriately with confidential and contentious issues;
  • Prepare communications for a range of audiences, including briefs, correspondence and supporting documents;
  • Undertake analysis of systems and preparation of reporting material for the Director Investigations and Managers; and
  • Establish effective working relationships with external stakeholders through the provision of well-developed liaison, communication and negotiation skills. Closely monitor stakeholders including other government agencies actions and processes; and managing exchange of relevant information

About You:

  • Excellent attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate on solutions to improve programs of work;
  • Ability to work independently and handle competing deadlines under time pressure, to produce work of a high standard; and
  • A positive attitude and commitment to pursue continuous growth, actively seeking feedback.
