Your role
Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate the development and implementation of responses to a range of policy and operational issues which are brought to the attention of the Minister and Director-General.
  • Coordinate information required by the Minister for Parliament, including briefings, Ministerial Statements and Questions on Notice.
  • Analyse briefs, correspondence, reports and other material critically prior to progression to the Minister or Director-General.
  • Assist the Director in developing and implementing quality assurance processes governing the provision of a range of executive services functions, including the management of executive correspondence and policy coordination issues.
  • Prepare briefing material and reports for the Minister and Director-General for executive government processes, e.g. Estimates.
  • Assist the Director and other senior officers in managing communications between the department and the Minister's Office.
