Your Role:
As the Senior Advisor - Occupational Therapy, you will have the opportunity to lead the provision of occupational therapy services and provide expert advice that supports curriculum delivery and students with disability.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide leadership and professional supervision at a regional level in the delivery of safe, high-quality effective occupational therapy services.
- Provide strategic advice on policy development and implementation and needs-based resourcing related to occupational therapy services within the region.
- Significantly contribute to the development of statewide programs, policies, operational standards and procedures to support occupational therapy services across the state.
- Undertake the supervision and professional development planning for the occupational therapy team in Metropolitan South Region.
- Advise on matters relating to the delivery of occupational therapy services in Metropolitan South Region and statewide.
- Collaborate with regional and statewide clinical supervisors, including attending regional and statewide TANS and senior advisor meetings.
- Support regional and statwide recruitment processes.
- Participate in regional and statewide research and project work.

- Advocacy skills informed by policy and data.
- Skills to lead and collaborate virtually with regional and school contacts.
- Located in Metropolitan South Region, or have the skills to lead and collaborate virtually from another region.
