About the Role
Mount Molloy State School is seeking a reliable and proactive Schools Officer (Grounds and Facilities) to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a safe, welcoming, and high-quality learning environment for our students, staff, and visitors.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining school grounds and facilities, including mowing, gardening, and minor repairs.
- Performing routine safety checks and ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety requirements.
- Assisting with school events by preparing facilities and supporting logistics.
- Managing tools and equipment, including maintenance and safe storage.
- Liaising with staff, students, and external personnel regarding facility maintenance and improvements.
This role would suit someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in maintaining clean and safe environments, and thrives in a collaborative school community.
