Prairie State School is located along the Flinders Highway, approximately 45km east of Hughenden township and 332km east of Townsville. The school is eligible for the Rural and Remote Education Access Program (RREAP) and the Recognition of Rural and Remote Service (RoRRS) Scheme also applies for suitably qualified teachers.
Accommodation is available for the successfull applicant to this temporary Principal position.
Established in 1894, Prairie State School is one of the oldest schools in Queensland. Prairie State School caters for students from Prep to Year 6 and also hosts a State Delivered Kindergarten (SDK) program. The school has an enrolment of 13 students and 2 registered SDK children.

As the Principal you will have responsibility for the following:
