About the Role

The role of Head of Department Student Services - Inclusive Practices includes but is not limited to:

  • Overseeing 'Case Management' of identified students e.g. students with disability (SWD), EAL/D, Out of Home Care (OoHC)
  • Overseeing the curriculum planning for students accessing an Individual Curriculum Plan (ICP) and the associated processes
  • Reviewing 'Personalised Learning' entries for identified students
  • Implementing whole school behaviour processes for identified students (e.g. issuing School disciplinary absences, conducting re-entry meetings)
  • Adhering to processes surrounding external NDIS providers in school
  • Monitoring and address attendance for identified students
  • Managing the daily allocation of teacher aide schedules
  • Line managing 'case managers' responsibilities.
