About the Role

You will have the following key duties:

  • Case management of year level students who demonstrate challenging behaviours.
  • Provision of timetabled programs and other proactive behaviour support and engagement strategies (including those delivered by non-teaching support staff) for year level students.
  • Liaising with support personnel inside and outside of the school to increase the scope of intervention for year level students.
  • Liaising with parents and carers of year level students regarding welfare, well-being, behaviour, engagement and support issues.
  • Supporting year level teachers to increase the scope of pedagogical and behavioural strategies used to increase student engagement, through formal professional development, classroom visits and informal support.
  • Monitor and review attendance data of year level students and provide relevant intervention.
  • Development, analysis and distribution of cohort datasets relating to student behaviour and engagement.
  • Leadership of Junior Secondary Wellbeing programs with Year Level Coordinators
