We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Head of Department - Senior Schooling to lead the continued growth and development of our Senior School. In this pivotal role, you will champion improvement and innovation, ensuring exceptional outcomes for all students.

About the Role

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and execute Senior Schooling Action Plan
  • Manage and oversee yr 10 - 12 Academy Programs and Tracking
  • Oversee Senior Secondary Leadership
  • Coordinate Student Engagement and Alternate Programs
  • Coordinate Head of Years in the Senior School
  • Lead and Coordinate VET and QCE tracking
  • Lead the school department to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
  • Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
  • Set high standards for student and staff performance.
  • Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
  • Form partnerships with students, parents, other government agencies, and community groups.
  • Be futures oriented and strategic.
  • Understand the legislation and policies that impact on schooling especially in relation to students and staff within the school department.
