About the Role:
The Head of Department - Design & Technologies will be an agile leader with a record of success in leading school improvement.
You will be focused on meeting the needs of each student and developing future problem-solvers, students with decision-making agility and risk-taking skills as they move into the future with confidence and resilience.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Lead the school department to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Lead the relevant curriculum areas to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Ensure teaching and learning occurs in the faculty with relevant workplace health and safety and risk assessment processes in place.
- Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
- Set high standards for student and staff performance.
