What we are looking for
Our next Guidance Officer is someone who is able to work as part of the support teams across the schools while also being able to work independently to deliver high quality services.
Applicants with knowledge of diverse learners, inclusive practices and supporting student's mental health and behavioural needs of students in Prep to Year 12 would be highly favourable.
The new Guidance Officer will desirably have a good working knowledge of the QCE system as well as an ability to provide counselling and career guidance to students in Year 7 to 12.
Opportunity as a Guidance Officer
As a Guidance Officer, you have the opportunity to:
- Provide professional expertise, leadership and support to school communities and networks in the development and implementation of plans, programs and procedures to assist students in achieving positive educational, developmental and lifelong learning outcomes.
- Collaboratively negotiate, develop and implement programs for students that have a focus on preventative and early intervention strategies, are responsive to identified personal, social, emotional and educational needs, and aim to foster resilience and personal skills development.

Applicants must have completed qualifications by the end of Semester 2, 2025 in line with the mandatory requirements of the Guidance Officer position.
