North Lakes State College opened its doors in 2002 and enables students to commence in Prep and continue through to Year 12 across our two campuses.

As a unique educational College, we offer many different areas of expertise including an industry standard commercial kitchen for hospitality studies, state of the art VI experience, as well as sharing our exceptional sporting facilities with the public.

The College has established a well-planned and sequenced curriculum program that is supported by a large selection of extra-curricular activities which assist students to explore their talents, interests and abilities.

Your opportunity:

The role will provide leadership in the development of effective systems, processes and practices that promote belonging, participation, engagement and achievement for every student.

  • Strong leadership experience in inclusive and special education with capacity to lead across a P-12 context.
  • A clear commitment to improving outcomes for students with disability and diverse learning needs.
  • The ability to build staff capability and embed inclusive practices across classrooms and the broader College.
  • Strong relational and collaborative leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, families, staff and external agencies.
  • A strategic approach to developing systems and practices that support inclusion, engagement and student success.
  • A demonstrated capacity to lead change and foster a positive, inclusive culture across a large and complex school environment.
