Flagstone State Community College is a fast growing area approximately one hour from the Brisbane CBD and the Gold Coast.
Your opportunity
As the Deputy Principal, you will be responsible for excellent educational outcomes for year 7 and 8 students.
- You will lead a team of Head of Engagement, Year Coordinator, Youth Worker and Education Support team to support the engagement of students in these cohorts.
- You will lead teams of staff involved in intervention programs to support reengagement of at risk students.
- You will also have line of sight over the Teaching and Learning, English and Maths Heads of Department to support the improvement in Curriculum in those areas of the school, as well as whole school activities which include transitions from primary school and NAPLAN.
- You will also report outcomes to the Principal.
