Dalby State School, also known locally as Dalby Central, is a school rich in history and it is one of the oldest public schools in Queensland.

- Provide clear and effective operational oversight, ensuring smooth day-to-day management and supporting the Strategic team in delivering the school's strategic priorities. With defined portfolios and responsibilities, the role strengthens organisational efficiency by streamlining decision-making, improving workload distribution, and reducing duplication of effort across the leadership team.
- Strengthening PBL, students' behaviour and engagement at the school, supporting the Upper phase of primary school, differentiation and multi-tiered level of Support.
- Guide and develop staff, foster collaborative practice, and play a key role in driving initiatives aligned with system priorities such as student wellbeing, teaching quality, cultural capability, and digital transformation.
- Champion a positive and safe workplace culture while strengthening performance support, coaching, and capability building for staff and middle-level leaders (cohort coordinators, classroom coaches, specialist teachers who deliver the Excellence programs). This includes ensuring programs are well-monitored, compliant, and continuously improving to deliver strong learning and wellbeing outcomes for students and families.
