About the Role
As part of the Executive Leadership Team, you will be delegated student management of a sub-school of two student cohorts to be negotiated with the Executive Principal, drive student
outcomes improvement generally and for the sub-school, through a focus on quality teaching and learning within the school's pedagogical approach, and delivering strategies of wellbeing, optimal engagement and other aspects of school culture tailored to that sub-school.
- Deputy Principals will have proven strategic experience in, and capability and capacity to contribute to and quality assure our core business and school operations.
- This requires the Deputy Principal to possess high level communication and interpersonal skills, collaborative teams' leadership and a range of strategies to empower Heads of Department and teachers to optimise teaching and learning with precision and impact.
- A high level of data literacy to inform and guide strategies and decision-making, identify and report progress in school priorities and student achievement, in an already high performing school.
- Relational skills to engage others, promote a forward looking and innovative professional culture, lead and participate in teams to implement and quality assure inclusive programs and differentiation in a muti-tiered system of support approach to student engagement, learning, and progress.
- As member of the executive team, demonstrate the ability to collaborate, communicate, and contribute effectively to collective decision-making processes, accountable to the Executive Principal for delegated duties and projects, support team members across portfolios, and fostering a culture of trust, respect, and professional growth within the leadership team.
- The successful applicant will need to quickly familiarise and assimilate themselves with the school's operational systems, strategic goals, and day-to-day processes and procedures.
