Step Into Your Next Chapter:
The Community Education Councillor will play a key role in strengthening relationships between education providers, students, families, and the wider community. You will advocate for culturally appropriate educational practices, support community engagement initiatives, and contribute to the development of programs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as a liaison between the community and education stakeholders
- Supporting the delivery of culturally responsive education initiatives
- Providing advice on policies, programs, and services affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander learners
- Promoting community awareness and participation in education opportunities
- Representing community perspectives in decision-making

The Perfect Fit:
The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of community needs, and a passion for improving educational outcomes. Experience working within education, community services, or a related field is ideal.
