About the Role

As the Business Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the school's leadership team by managing corporate services and driving systemic change. Reporting to the Principal, you will oversee administrative, financial, and human resource functions while supervising school support staff and fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing autonomous business services in a complex environment, including interpreting information and adapting processes.
  • Delivering comprehensive administrative support, including preparing reports, conducting research, and recommending solutions.
  • Supervising and managing school support staff, including recruitment, induction, and performance monitoring.
  • Assisting with budget preparation and administration, financial reporting, and resource management in compliance with policies.
  • Advising on facilities and grounds maintenance, managing repairs, and identifying opportunities for resource sustainability.

This role would suit a proactive and organised professional with a passion for supporting educational excellence through effective operational management.

About You

  • Experience in financial management, including budgeting, payroll, and resource allocation.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage teams, including performance management and staff development.
  • Problem-solving skills, with the ability to research, analyse, and implement effective solutions.
  • Familiarity with facilities and resource management, including maintenance and sustainability initiatives.
