About the School

Established in 1987, Redbank Plains State High School has a proud history of delivering outstanding education for the young people of Redbank Plains and surrounding suburbs. With over 1500 students, the school offers a wide range of academic and vocational subjects and pathways to students living in the local catchment area. The school is divided into a Junior Secondary school from Years 7 to 9 and a Senior Secondary school from Years 10 to 12. The school has high expectations of its students' attendance, engagement and behaviour, with an emphasis on each student achieving to the highest level of their ability.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide general administrative support, including data entry, record management, and correspondence.
  • Prepare and format documents, reports, and presentations.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service to students, staff, parents, and external stakeholders.
  • Manage inquiries via phone, email, and in person.
  • Maintain compliance with policies, procedures, and record-keeping requirements.
  • Support school events, meetings, and scheduling.
  • Contribute to process improvements and work collaboratively with the team.

Desirable skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word for data management, reporting, and document preparation
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement, partnership development, or business relationship management.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and networking skills to foster connections between industry and education.
  • A commitment to inclusivity, ensuring industry opportunities reflect the diversity and needs of the school community.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects while collaborating effectively in a fast-paced environment.
