Veritas Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Wakefield. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire and engage students across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering high-quality lessons that foster a love for English language and literature.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging English lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to whole-school initiatives.
    • Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Strong subject knowledge in English.
  • Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 (GCSE level).
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
