Ravenswood School for Girls is a Uniting Church Prep to Year 12 day and boarding school for girls located on Sydney’s North Shore. Ravenswood offers both the HSC and the IB Diploma Programme as well as the PYP in the Junior School. We are seeking a passionate and skilled English Teacher to join our dedicated team in a permanent, full-time capacity, commencing at the beginning of Term 1, 2025.
At Ravenswood, we are committed to inspiring students both academically and through co-curricular activities. We are looking for a dynamic and engaging classroom teacher who brings creativity and rigor to curriculum delivery and thrives in a professional, collaborative team environment.
To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated teaching ability in English, including:
- Experience in teaching English to Years 7-10
- The ability to teach HSC English Advanced and/or Standard would be desirable
- The ability to effectively integrate ICT into the classroom
- A strong capacity for differentiating curriculum delivery
- A flexible and collegial approach to teamwork
