Somerville House is a day and boarding school for girls established in 1899, providing exceptional education for students from Prep through to Year 12, with co-educational Pre-Prep offering. Following the successful implantation to the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme, we are looking for an Educator to join our Centre on a part-time, term-time, fixed-term basis from 13 July 2026 for the remainder of the year (This position is covering a period of parental leave and may be extended into the 2027 academic year on a full time basis)
This position will work 2 days per week - Thursday and Friday between the core hours of 7.45am-3.45pm. On occasion, educators may support the extended hours program between 7am-6pm as advised by the Director of Pre-Prep.
This position would find you working collaboratively with the Early Years teachers to support students within Pre-Prep. Within this role, you will create engaging, hands-on learning experiences that are enriching, inclusive, and tailored to support the developmental needs of every child! With a passion for education and understanding the needs of students you will provide quality one-on-one and group learning experiences!
It is a mandatory requirement to hold a Diploma of Children’s Services (Early Childhood) and a current paid blue card (working with children check).
