Nursery Practitioner - Bank Staff (Day‑to‑Day)

Are you someone who absolutely lights up when supporting little learners? Do you enjoy varied days, meeting new children, and stepping into nurturing early‑years settings where no two days are ever the same? If so, I'd love to hear from you.

I'm working with a lovely nursery in the heart of Skipton who are looking for warm, reliable, and hands‑on Nursery Practitioners to join their bank team. This is a perfect role if you're seeking flexibility, day‑to‑day supply work, or a way to fit childcare shifts around your own commitments.

What you'll be doing

  • Supporting babies, toddlers, and pre‑school children in their play and learning
  • Helping create safe, joyful, and engaging nursery environments
  • Working alongside a friendly team of practitioners
  • Following nursery routines, from snack time to story time
  • Building strong, positive relationships with children and staff

    • What we're looking for

  • Experience in an early years setting (or transferable childcare experience)
  • A genuine love for supporting children's early development
  • Someone reliable, caring, and confident stepping into different rooms when needed
  • Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification is ideal - but passionate, experienced practitioners are very welcome to apply
