Job Description: Veritas Education is working in partnership with a welcoming two-form entry primary school in Bow Road to recruit a Level 3 qualified Nursery Assistant. This role is ideal for a passionate early years professional who is committed to supporting children's learning and development in a nursery setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support children within the nursery setting in line with the EYFS framework

  • Assist with planning and delivering engaging learning activities

  • Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment

  • Support children's social, emotional, and physical development

  • Carry out observations and contribute to learning records

  • Work collaboratively with the EYFS team and class teacher

  • Support with personal care where required

    • Requirements:

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare (essential)

  • Previous experience working in a nursery or EYFS setting

  • Good understanding of the EYFS curriculum

  • A caring, proactive, and reliable approach

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
