EYFS Teaching Assistant - Level 3 Qualified

Location: Kirklees/Wakefield

Are you a passionate and dedicated Level 3 Qualified Early Years Teaching Assistant looking to make a meaningful difference in the early stages of a child's education? We are working with a range of welcoming primary schools across Kirklees and Wakefield seeking enthusiastic EYFS professionals to support nursery and reception classes.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a vital role in children's early development, helping them grow academically, socially, and emotionally within a nurturing and stimulating environment.

The Role:

As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support children's learning and development in line with the EYFS framework
  • Help create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support tailored to individual needs
  • Encourage social skills, independence, confidence, and positive behaviour
  • Assist with observations, assessments, and recording progress
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and EYFS staff to deliver high-quality provision
  • Support children's wellbeing and ensure safeguarding procedures are followed

    • Requirements:

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (or equivalent)
  • Experience working within an EYFS, nursery, or school setting
  • A strong understanding of the EYFS framework
  • A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A genuine passion for supporting young children
