Early Years Teaching Assistant Location: Lancaster Contract Type: Agency role

Are you passionate about working with young children and helping them reach their full potential? We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistants to join our team at a well-established pre-school in Lancaster. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the early educational development of children, supporting them as they embark on their learning journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the classroom teacher in delivering engaging and age-appropriate lessons and activities.
  • Support children in developing their social, emotional, and academic skills.
  • Help create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for all children.

    • Requirements:

  • Experience working with young children (preferably in a pre-school or early years setting).
  • A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Education is desirable, but not essential.
  • A genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to supporting children's development.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
