Veritas Education is pleased to be working with a warm and community-focused 1 form entry faith primary school in Angel to appoint an experienced and dedicated Early Years Lead for a January start. This is a key role within the school, suitable for a highly experienced Early Years practitioner with the confidence to lead and inspire a small EYFS team.

The Role:

  • Leading the Early Years provision across Nursery and/or Reception

  • Managing and supporting a small team of Level 3 practitioners and Nursery Assistants

  • Overseeing planning, assessment, and delivery of the EYFS curriculum

  • Ensuring provision reflects the school's faith ethos and values

  • Monitoring pupil progress and implementing effective early intervention strategies

  • Working closely with the Headteacher and senior leaders to develop Early Years practice

  • Maintaining a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment

    • The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Have extensive experience in Early Years education (essential)

  • Be confident in leading and supporting a team

  • Have strong knowledge of the EYFS framework, assessment, and safeguarding

  • Demonstrate excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills

  • Be supportive of and committed to the ethos of a faith school
