Veritas Education are working with a welcoming, community-focused primary school in Islington that is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Teacher to join their thriving EYFS team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate practitioner who is committed to delivering outstanding early years provision.

The Role

The successful candidate will take on a full-time teaching role within the Early Years Foundation Stage, delivering a nurturing and engaging curriculum that supports children's early development. You will work closely with experienced support staff and the EYFS Lead to create an inspiring environment where every child can thrive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality teaching across the EYFS, ensuring learning is child-centred, creative and purposeful.

  • Plan, prepare and assess according to the EYFS framework, using observations to inform next steps.

  • Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.

  • Create a warm, inclusive and stimulating learning environment indoors and outdoors.

  • Support children's personal, social and emotional development through consistent routines and nurturing interactions.

  • Contribute to the wider school community and uphold the school's values.

    • The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching in Early Years.

  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and early child development.

  • A creative, reflective and proactive approach to teaching.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • A passion for helping young children grow, explore and develop independence.

  • Commitment to inclusive practice and supporting children with a range of needs.
