Veritas Education is recruiting Nursery Practitioners for welcoming nursery settings in the YO31 area of York.

We are looking for both qualified practitioners and unqualified candidates with previous experience working with children.

Whether you're looking for full-time or part-time work, we have opportunities available to suit your availability and experience.

The Role

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will:

  • Support children's learning and development through fun, engaging activities
  • Create a safe, caring, and stimulating environment
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Encourage children's confidence, independence, and wellbeing
  • Support children's individual learning and development
  • Work as part of a friendly and supportive nursery team
  • Follow EYFS and safeguarding procedures

    • We're Looking For

  • Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification - preferred
  • Unqualified candidates with previous experience working with children are encouraged to apply
  • Previous nursery or childcare experience is desirable
  • A caring, enthusiastic, and reliable approach
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • A genuine passion for supporting young children's development
