Early Years Practitioner - Wakefield (Level 2/3) Employer: Veritas Education Location: Wakefield

Are you passionate about supporting young children to learn and grow? Veritas Education is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join a friendly nursery team in Wakefield.

This role is open to Level 2 or Level 3 qualified practitioners, as well as candidates with relevant childcare experience who are looking to develop their career in early years.

You'll help create a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where children can learn through play, supporting their development while working as part of a supportive nursery team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support engaging play-based learning activities

  • Promote children's development and wellbeing

  • Observe and contribute to learning journeys

  • Build positive relationships with parents and colleagues

  • Follow safeguarding and nursery policies

  • Level 2/3 Early Years qualification or relevant experience

  • A nurturing, positive attitude

  • Good communication and teamwork skills

  • Understanding of EYFS and safeguarding (or willingness to learn)
