Veritas Education is currently recruiting passionate and dedicated Nursery Practitioners to join friendly and nurturing nursery settings across Wakefield. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy making a positive impact on children's early development while working within supportive and rewarding early years environments. Whether you hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification, or have previous nursery experience, we would love to hear from you.

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting children's learning, development, and wellbeing through creative and engaging activities. You will help create a safe, stimulating, and caring environment where children can build confidence, develop essential skills, and thrive during these important early years.

What we're looking for:

  • Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification preferred
  • Previous nursery or early years experience
  • Good understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Ability to support engaging and age-appropriate learning activities
  • A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting child welfare
  • Ability to create a positive and nurturing learning environment
