Veritas Education is recruiting on behalf of a well-regarded, independent nursery in Pudsey that offers a calm, nurturing environment with a strong focus on outdoor learning and creative daily experiences.

This is an excellent opportunity for both qualified (Level 2 or Level 3) practitioners and unqualified candidates with childcare experience who are looking to build or continue a career in early years education.

The nursery prides itself on its welcoming atmosphere, thoughtfully planned activities, and a beautiful outdoor space that encourages exploration and play in all seasons.

The Role

You will be supporting children in a safe and engaging setting, helping to deliver a variety of play-led learning opportunities while working closely with a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in delivering a range of stimulating indoor and outdoor activities

Support children's social, emotional, and educational development

Contribute to observations and children's progress records

Develop positive relationships with families and colleagues

Ensure safeguarding and welfare standards are consistently met

What We're Looking For

Level 2/3 Early Years qualification or hands-on childcare experience

A warm, approachable, and reliable nature

Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team

Awareness of EYFS practices or a willingness to learn and develop
