EAL Teaching Assistant - Secondary School, Bushey
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-regarded secondary school in Bushey for an experienced EAL (English as an Additional Language) Teaching Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to support students for whom English is not their first language, helping them to achieve academic success and integrate confidently within the school community.
Role Overview:
Provide tailored support to EAL students across different year groups, focusing on language acquisition and comprehension skillsWork closely with classroom teachers to deliver targeted interventions and adapt learning materials for EAL studentsAssist with developing and implementing individual learning plans to support student progress and integrationRequirements:
Experience as an EAL or ESL (English as a Second Language) Teaching Assistant in a school settingStrong understanding of language acquisition challenges and strategies for supporting EAL studentsExcellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students from diverse backgroundsProactive, adaptable, and patient approach to helping students overcome language barriersWhat's on Offer:
