Veritas Education is seeking a passionate and creative Drama Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Wakefield. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire students and bring the performing arts to life. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4, fostering confidence, creativity, and a love for drama.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Drama lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Prepare students for GCSE examinations and support their progress.
  • Create an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment that encourages participation and creativity.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student achievement and development.
  • Contribute to extracurricular activities, including school productions and drama clubs.
  • Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Drama at KS3 and KS4 level.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage learners of all abilities.
  • A genuine passion for Drama and the performing arts.
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
