  • Experienced educational leader with highly developed interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to Catholic education with a clear understanding of the vision and mission of Catholic schools and a willingness to support the faith formation of all students
  • Qualifications and experience in special education
  • Exemplary classroom practitioner
  • The ability to collaboratively lead the Diverse Learning Team within an inclusive education model of service delivery
  • Ability to liaise with parents, staff, students and outside agencies to support individual students with specific learning needs
  • The ability to develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate high quality individualised educational programs, inclusive of adjustments
  • The ability to provide whole school leadership around differentiation of the curriculum including assessment tasks to meet the individual learning needs of students
  • An ability to oversee the data collection for NCCD
  • An understanding of the Disability Standards for Educators (2005) and the Broken Bay Catholic Schools compliance requirements for schools
  • An understanding of NESA requirements for disability provisions and life skills outcomes.

Working with Children Check clearance is a compulsory requirement for employment.

Applicants who are not currently working in a Broken Bay systemic school must have a four year training qualification or be enrolled to undertake further study that will provide them with a four year trained qualification to be eligible to apply for any teaching position in the Diocese.
