About the Role
As a Classroom Support Assistant you will play a vital role in creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment by working closely with Classroom Teachers to ensure all students, including those with diverse learning and support needs, can thrive in school life. This role involves providing tailored assistance to students with limited mobility, including support with personal care, hygiene, and medical needs such as enteral and nasogastric feeding. By fostering academic achievement and promoting social development, the Classroom Support Assistant empowers students to engage confidently in independent learning and actively participate in all aspects of the school community.

Qualifications
- Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP).
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
- Certificate IV in Education Support; or
- Currently in the process of obtaining Certificate IV in Education Support; or
- Are in Third year or final year of study and completion of the practicum in a relevant initial teacher education (ITE) qualification.
