Our Team
The Procurement and Facilities Services Branch provides critical services that support the delivery of educational outcomes.
What we are Looking For
This role requires a strategic leader capable of collaborating with key stakeholders to develop innovative solutions that achieve key outcomes. The position provides procurement advice, policy guidance, capability development, compliance oversight, and systems support to the Chief Procurement Officer, senior management, and key internal stakeholders and clients, while leading a team that delivers high-quality procurement services to the department. The role also involves participating in the development, implementation, and evaluation of the department's agency procurement plans and individual project initiatives.
Your Responsibilities
As the Director, Procurement Services, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Provide high level procurement advice to senior management and key internal clients.
- Lead a team that provides high quality procurement services to the department.
- Engagement and consultation with key stakeholders to deliver DoE's strategic ICT initiatives.
- Translation of the department's procurement plan and other DoE strategies into operational projects and goals.
